Cure LBSL and Kennedy Krieger Institute proudly co-host the LBSL Patient and Scientific Conference, the leading gathering dedicated to bringing the LBSL community together. Held every two years, the conference connects patients and families with clinicians, researchers, and advocates from around the world to share knowledge, build relationships, and advance the understanding and treatment of LBSL.
The conference brings the latest LBSL research and clinical insights directly to the community, with topics ranging from disease progression and clinical care to clinical trial readiness, outcome measures, and gene therapy. It also creates space for families to connect with one another, learn from experts, and share their experiences and perspectives.
Since the first conference in 2018, these gatherings have grown into an international community of patients, families, researchers, and medical professionals working together toward a common goal: a treatment for LBSL. Conference presentations and recordings are also available online, providing an ongoing resource for the broader LBSL community.
