Marla was just a month and a half old when she developed uncontrolled eye movement. Motor delays soon followed. “We thought she might have vision problems,” says her mom, Karla. An MRI and genetic testing revealed LBSL.

Marla sees many specialists and therapists in her native Croatia. She loves to laugh and is drawn to songs. “Marla is our greatest blessing,” her mom says.
